Myra's Musings

Okay. Here goes.... yikes. Talk about writer's block. I'm in a 12 step recovery program. I'd like to talk to other people who are currently in a proram. I think living is awesome. I haven't tried anything else that I can remember though. I love reading the blogs of others (sounds like a song, eh, "The Blogs of Others"). It helps me feel connected. I'd love to have friends all over the world. So, if you have found me somehow (I found other Myras by searching for Myra Blogs, (what brought you here, anyway?) please feel free to let me know who you are. I have difficulty understanding some of the "jargon" of the young. I'm 51, but I'm not dead yet... and open to learning, even the jargon!

Hee hee, I don't even know all the jargon either but blogging is less complicated than texting. If you want to meet other people, the best way is to go to blogs you know, read the comments and click over to people whose comments interest you or click on people on their blog roll and blog rings and then read some of their posts. Then comment on their posts and they will usually come over and check out who you are. Meanwhile, on the new blogs you will see who they are conversing with and can meet more people there and it keeps going and going like the old Breck commercials. Just be careful to set a time limit per day or week or sitting or whatever, and make sure you will let yourself be interrupted by real life, or you will need another 12 step program! Have fun! It's been a blast for me.
